Macanations

Over the years Ive painted many sweet things. . . donuts, cakes, lollipops, candies of all sorts but if i had to pin down which sweet ive painted the most it probably would be Macarons.. with a rainbow of Colors And textures they are always a challenge to paint which is Probably what keeps me coming back.. here i’m using a simple triangle “composition” pile to make a handful of these pop in the light and some fall away into shadow.
