The Windy Day Cocktail

$8,500.00

18×24 (25×31” framed) / oil on panel

The only figurative piece that I did for my solo show “Good Spirits The Art of The Elixir” at Cincinnati Art Galleries, this portrait of my wife was supposed to be somewhat classic in pose with a martini and olive in hand. Mother Nature had different ideas on the day we decided to shoot our reference materials. We tracked to the top of a hill near our home, with beverage accoutrement in hand only to find ourselves blasted by massive gusts of wind. So we made the due and did the best we could and this is what we came up with.
